Valio wanted to return to the ice cream business after 10 years of being absent from the market.
Challenge
The ice cream market was already saturated and bigger brands like Ben & Jerry's and Magnum product range were dominating the store’s freezers.
Solution
We wanted to create a brand that stood out from the international rivals as being an innovative local brand. We wanted to emphasize the design and communication that the products are made in a small ice cream shop inside Valio's dairy in Oulu with an innovative team that keeps on creating delightful new ice cream tastes.
Result
Valion Jäätelöfabriikki ice cream jars stand now proudly been its international rivals and keep on delighting Finns throughout the year.
